The Display: This series of exhibition panels will convey the very latest research on two women Isabella of France and Margaret of Anjou who made such a significant impact on 14th and 15th century Coventry. The display will demonstrate the importance of Coventry in the medieval period, a centre of architecture, art, music and drama of the very highest quality. A surprising amount of evidence for this ‘golden age’ in Coventry’s history survives and only now is its significance being fully appreciated at a national level.
The Project is managed by Medieval Coventry Trust and is supported by Historic Coventry Trust, the Coventry City of Culture Great Place Project and the University of Oxford, with research provided by The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities (TORCH).
